Regulatory Notice
Under WAC 314-55-077, cannabis and cannabis products may not be returned by a retail licensee to a processor except in limited, regulatorily approved circumstances. Georgetown Bottling Co. (“GBC”) complies strictly with Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board (WSLCB) requirements. Returns outside these categories will not be accepted.
Eligible Return Categories:
· Product must be unopened, untampered, and in original packaging
· Reported within 8 calendar days of delivery
· Pre-approved by GBC
Resolution (at GBC discretion): Replacement with correct product, credit, or cash refund as defined by WAC 314-55-115
1. Incorrect Orders (All SKUs)
2. Defective Products (SKU-Specific)
🍨 Manufactured Edibles (Including Frozen Infused Sorbet)
· Eligible for return if defect is due to manufacturing, packaging, labeling, or WSLCB-mandated quality/safety issues
· Freezer failures not caused by retailer may be considered for partial credit
· Full refunds not guaranteed; products may be approved for destruction if necessary
🔌 Vapes & Cartridges
· Eligible for return if defect is due to manufacturing, hardware failure at delivery, or labeling/compliance errors
· Not eligible: clogging, battery incompatibility, post-delivery damage, or consumer preference
🌿 Flower & Pre-Rolls
· Eligible for return if defect present at delivery due to packaging or quality issues
· Not eligible: degradation from retailer storage, handling, or age
3. Returns for Destruction (No Refund)
· GBC may approve destruction of unopened, unsold products: edibles, vapes, flower, pre-rolls, manufactured products, or sample jars
· Products not eligible for refund may, with GBC approval and where WSLCB rules permit, be destroyed on-site at retailer’s licensed premises
· Retailer must follow WSLCB-approved destruction procedures and documentation; proof may be required
· If on-site destruction not approved/permitted, products must be returned to GBC for destruction
All destruction activity must be properly recorded in accordance with WSLCB traceability and recordkeeping requirements.
4. Retailer Closure
· Products may be returned only with prior WSLCB approval and in accordance with WAC 314-55-115
· Should the retailer’s freezer be under lease with Senfina Inc., the retailer must contact Senfina to schedule or reschedule the removal of the freezer. GBC does not provide the freezers; GBC only supplied the frozen product contained within the freezer.
· Product disposition must be coordinated with freezer removal timing unless otherwise approved in writing
· Failure to coordinate freezer removal may delay or disqualify return eligibility
Discretionary Authority
· GBC reserves the right to approve or deny any return, require documentation/inspection, determine resolution (replacement, credit, partial credit, refund, or destruction), and modify this policy at any time
· Approval of one return does not establish precedent
· Website and Terms Updates: GBC reserves the right to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates/changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Continued use of or access to the website following posting of changes constitutes acceptance.
